Friday Live 1975 is a live album by The Rolling Stones, released in 2012. It was recorded at The Forum in Inglewood, California, near Los Angeles. The album was released exclusively as a digital download through Google Music on 2 April 2012. The concert was on Sunday 13 July 1975, but bootleggers used the Rolling Stone title of the review of the Friday show for its vinyl bootleg releases. Forum Live in 1975 is. That record was fairly heavily overdubbed but L. Forum Live in 1975 is cheerfully raw, finding the Stones pounding away at a 24-song set two of these are showcases for Billy Preston, who was guesting with the group on this tour. The official release may have cleaned up the date - original bootlegs claimed it was the Friday show of a stint at the Forum, when it was actually performed that Sunday - but the performances are still greasy and slippery. The Rolling Stones Tour Of The Americas '75 was the band's first tour with new guitarist Ronnie Wood. Even before the dates started there were dramatic scenes in New York City at the official tour announcement when the band unexpectedly turned up on a flatbed truck to play 'Brown Sugar'. My first of countless Rolling Stones shows that I saw began in 75 in Chicago. That night, Mick, Keith, et al hit all their cues wonderfully. Yes, Mick slurred some words then, but that was a minor flaw in a dynamite performance by all. The show in LA preserved here is slovenly, and doesnt represent the Stones well at all . DVD is from Friday, July 11, 1975 show. Vinyl is edited from Sunday, July 13, 1975 show; previously released digitally in full in 2012 as L.A. Friday, using the name from the original bootleg (even though the day of the week is wrong).

The following songs are edited out of the vinyl release: "Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker)", "Wild Horses", and the two Billy Preston songs: "That's Life" and "Outa-Space".
